Summary

Models a solar chimney power plant fitted with an unpowered wind-driven pressure wheel at the chimney outlet, using the Spanish prototype as reference. Compared with the conventional plant, the wind-boosted design gives about 51% more shaft power at 100 rpm, higher net income and NPV, and a roughly 20% lower minimum electricity price; a conventional plant would need a much taller chimney to match it.
