Summary

Proposes combining a solar chimney with the dry cooling tower of Iran's 250 MW Shahid Rajaee steam plant, where condenser reject heat, sunlight and injected stack flue gas together drive a wind turbine. Finite volume simulations varying chimney wall angle, collector slope and ground slope give turbine outputs from 360 kW to over 4.4 MW, lifting plant thermal efficiency by up to about 0.54%.
