Summary
Outdoor experiments compared solar chimney power systems combined with seawater desalination, each built with a different chimney height and diameter. Making the chimney taller or wider increased airflow, which raised both electricity output and solar energy efficiency. Freshwater yield also improved, though only while the airflow stayed within the range that the seawater evaporation unit can handle.
