Summary

Fluent simulations driven by one month of local weather-station measurements assess a solar chimney power plant for Constantine, Algeria, scaled to three times the Manzanares prototype. At this size, small fluctuations in irradiance barely affect performance, and the plant is predicted to deliver a monthly average of roughly 72–296 MW, enough to supply nearby rural communities.
