Summary

Tracer-gas field measurements of natural ventilation in a college building with two solar chimneys, completed in 2004, were used to build multi-room airflow models and test chimney design improvements. A heat balance model of the chimney matched the measured data and was used to find construction material heat capacities that keep ventilation steady throughout the day.
