Summary

A solar chimney in Kerman, Iran, is paired with solid oxide electrolysis and fuel cells so that hydrogen made during the day can supply power at night, alongside combined heat and electricity output. A fluid search optimizer, compared with NSGA-II, finds the most economical configuration. Cell length matters far more than heat recovery steam generator pressure, and winter operation depends more heavily on stored backup energy.
