Summary
A solar chimney attached to a single-storey building in Tiruchirappalli, India, was built and tested with air inlets placed on different sides, alone or in pairs, alongside a CFD model. Ventilation rates varied with inlet position, and a chimney inclined at 50° with a left-side inlet gave the highest airflow; simulations agreed well with measurements.
