Summary

Finite-volume simulations examine how tower height and radius shape the airflow in a solar chimney intended to power a hydrogen production station based on water electrolysis. Tower dimensions strongly raise or lower the mass flow rate, so they directly govern the flow field, while the temperature field is affected only indirectly through a lower mean system temperature.
