Summary
Field tests on five small concrete-board model houses, three with roofs working as solar chimneys and two unventilated references, compared indoor temperature and ventilation. The chimney roofs drew roughly 36 m3/h, about 24 air changes, and the best layout, a roof collector with a central ceiling opening, kept indoor conditions better than an insulated reference house.
