Summary

Tests on a wooden test room in a hot arid climate, ventilated by a Trombe-wall solar chimney with a glazed south face, show the room staying cooler than outside air throughout the day. A 5 cm channel produced higher airflow speeds than a 10 cm one and performed better overall, supporting Trombe walls for removing indoor heat in hot regions.
