Summary
A glazed solar chimney integrated with a water-heating collector and a PV-powered DC fan was built on the south wall of a small test house in Bangkok and compared with an identical house fitted with a single-glazed window. The hybrid unit kept the room cooler, cut heat gain through stronger fan-assisted airflow, and supplied about 10 liters of water warm enough for household use.
