Summary
ESP-r simulations of an equator-facing, wall-mounted solar chimney ventilating a room, run with hourly weather data from nine sites across low to high latitudes, compare heating and cooling loads with and without airflow control. Controlled flow cut cooling and annual total loads at every site, whereas uncontrolled flow raised them at some locations; heating savings were marginal in both cases.
