Summary
ANSYS Fluent simulations compare a flat-roofed solar chimney power plant with two versions whose collector roof is tilted at 2.5° and 5°, using energy and exergy analysis. Tilting the roof improves performance: the 2.5° design gives the best collector efficiencies and lowest exergy destruction, while the 5° design delivers the most power and the highest overall energy efficiency.
