Summary

Field tests on a room in Alexandria, Egypt, ventilated and cooled by a solar chimney linked to an earth-to-air tube, with a PV panel at the back of the chimney, comparing 30° and 45° tilts and natural versus forced tube airflow. Room temperature dropped by up to 3.5 °C, and the chimney-mounted panel produced about 70% of the peak output of an outdoor one.
