Summary
Combines ANSYS Fluent simulations with field measurements to find the best tilt, cross-section shape and size for a ventilation solar chimney suited to the climate of Erbil. A square chimney 30 cm wide inclined at 32° worked best, reaching a peak flow of about 0.11 kg/s, with simulations closely matching the measurements.
