Summary
Field tests in India on a room fitted with a wall-mounted solar chimney, comparing four gaps between absorber and glazing and several room opening layouts. Airflow rose as the gap widened, and the 15 cm gap gave the best results, with outlet air speeds up to 0.6 m/s and indoor temperatures lowered by up to about 2 °C.
