Thermal and Electric Performance of PV/T Solar Chimney System Kyriakos Vattis A MATLAB model using a transient 2D implicit finite-difference scheme simulates facade solar chimneys with integrated PV/T modules for a 10 m2 system on a Delft building, comparing finned and water-pipe heat-recovery layouts, plus variants without them. The water-pipe layout gives the best overall energy yield, about 64% annual efficiency, while fins maximise electricity output.
