Summary
A full-scale solar chimney built at a university energy-efficient buildings centre in central Bohemia is monitored over two January days with contrasting sunshine, temperature and wind. Even in a Czech winter, the chimney can assist natural ventilation and save energy on windy as well as sunny days, with sunny days giving extra savings through preheating of incoming air.
