Summary

Computational fluid dynamics is used to evaluate how a solar chimney's tilt, its glazing layers and the emissivity of its wall shape the airflow it draws through a building. Facing south at the studied site, a chimney tilted near 67.5° delivered about 11% more efficiency than an upright one, and lowering wall emissivity also gave a clear gain.
