Summary
Compares a reference solar chimney power plant with variants fitted with secondary and tertiary collector roofs at two arid Algerian sites, Tamanrasset and Adrar. Combining secondary and tertiary collector roofs gives the best performance, with annual output estimated at roughly 50–79 kW and June peak hourly output of 47–80 kW, the highest values occurring at Tamanrasset.
