Summary
Full-scale field measurements of a solar chimney serving a classroom in an occupied building under hot, humid tropical weather. Even with cloud cover the chimney sustained airflow of roughly 1.5 m/s in its ducts, and moving the chimney inlet down to occupant height raised indoor air speeds to a peak of about 0.6 m/s, as smoke tests also confirmed.
