Summary

A solar chimney power plant coupled with seawater desalination and flue-gas waste heat is modelled with and without a wind supercharging device. Taller chimneys and hotter flue gas improve output, while stronger irradiance raises electricity but lowers water yield and overall efficiency. Harnessing high-altitude wind lifts overall energy efficiency by about 15%, reaching roughly 13.5%.
