Summary

Experiments on a small solar chimney, 3 m tall with a 3 m collector, test whether corona wind from electrohydrodynamic electrodes improves its output, comparing parallel, radial and symmetric arrangements. A parallel array of six closely spaced electrodes worked best, warming the exiting air by up to 14 °C and lifting overall performance by roughly 28%.
