Summary

Numerical CFD investigation of how mesh density affects predicted temperature, velocity and pressure fields in a solar chimney power plant. Four grids were compared against experimental measurements; the two finest stayed within roughly 4% of the data and better captured flow and thermal gradients near the chimney axis, and the authors suggest adaptive refinement to keep computing costs down.
