Summary

A lightweight optical–thermal–fluid model, run without CFD, assesses a solar chimney whose absorber carries a NiO-CuO nanocoating, with an exergy analysis over a range of solar irradiance. Compared with an uncoated absorber, the coating raises air velocity by roughly 18–32% and draft pressure by 22–35%, and also increases plate temperature and exergy efficiency.
