Summary

Fluent simulations with a turbulence model and tests on a prototype are combined to examine a facade-mounted solar chimney whose duct narrows between an upright and a slanted wall, assessing how channel height and gap width shape airflow and heating; preliminary measurements on a rig 4 m tall and 1.5 m wide report heated-wall temperatures and channel velocities.
