Summary
Small rooftop solar chimney models for houses on the equator are investigated: a sloped roof serves as a flat-plate collector that heats air feeding a chimney and generator, with a turbine ventilator assisting the airflow and cutting collector heat losses. A roof tilt of about 10° gave outlet air near 80 °C, enough to drive chimney flow for other uses.
