Introduction to the theory of solar chimney power plants Erdem Cuce; Pınar Mert Cuce With the increasing human population, energy consumption is increasing day by day. The fact that energy production has been based on fossil fuels for many years has reached dangerous levels for environmental pollution and human life. It is inevitable to significantly increase the use of alternative energy sources for sustainability and reducing environmental pollution. The sun has the highest potential among renewable energy sources, with the energy it contains and the possibility of using it in wide geographies. Solar chimney power plants, which are among the solar energy systems, attract great attention from researchers with their simple structure. In this section, information about the theoretical infrastructure of the system is presented and its mathematical background is presented. Comparison with other solar energy systems and details of its first application are presented.

Abstract
With the increasing human population, energy consumption is increasing day by day.
