Summary
Two small-scale three-storey building models, one fitted with south-wall solar chimneys and one without, were monitored outdoors in Thailand to compare a shared chimney with a single top outlet against separate per-floor outlets. Rooms in the chimney model stayed about 4–5 °C cooler, and the shared chimney with one outlet at the top floor performed best.
