Summary

An inclined solar chimney was coupled with exhaust gas from a laboratory gas turbine, routed beneath a finned absorber that works as a heat exchanger, and tested outdoors. Adding this waste heat at an average of about 88 °C nearly doubled power output (roughly 91% higher) and raised the air temperature rise by a third relative to solar-only operation.
