Summary
A 6 m tall prototype solar chimney power plant built in Aswan, Egypt, was tested and its measured output matched a thermodynamic model of the internal flow well. The validated model was then applied to a larger plant with a 20 m chimney, then under construction, and predicted roughly 600 times more power, which helps size its generator.
