Summary

Pairs a ventilating solar chimney with an earth-to-air heat exchanger, modelled in MATLAB for Raipur in India's hot subtropical zone. Depending on the season, the combined system heats, cools or ventilates a house. Annual savings reach about 921 kWh of electricity per house, and city-wide adoption could avoid up to 59,101 tonnes of CO2 a year.
