Summary
Three-dimensional simulations examine a roof-mounted solar chimney in which a perforated plate inside the air gap splits the flow into two heated channels. Compared with a conventional design, it raises the buoyancy-driven pressure difference and delivers greater airflow, with the gain most pronounced when the roof is steeper and the gap wider.
