Summary
Thermodynamic model of a solar chimney power plant sized for the Al-Fataih region of Libya, assessed through energy and exergy analysis using 2024 weather data. The simulated plant yields roughly 527 kW of electricity on average, the chimney and turbine together cause over 35% of exergy destruction, and collector area and chimney height emerge as the main design levers.
