Summary
Tests in a room in the desert climate of Yazd, Iran, examine passive cooling from a redesigned Trombe wall coupled with a solar chimney and water spraying. Spraying cut indoor temperature by about 8 °C while raising humidity, and lifted thermal efficiency by roughly 30%. Heat stored in the wall kept air moving when there was no sun.
