Summary

Examines how tilting the tower of a solar chimney power plant, as with flexible fabric or floating towers meant to resist wind loads, affects performance, testing angles from 15° to 30° together with a water-filled thermal store under the collector. Tilts up to about 22° can raise performance, and the stored heat extends power output overnight with lower entropy generation.
