Summary

Experimental tests in a hot, dry climate (Yazd, Iran) of a passive cooling setup in which a Trombe wall is combined with a solar chimney, water spraying and rectangular fin arrays. Spraying water lowered room temperature by as much as 10 °C, while adding fins raised cooling efficiency by up to 6%. Copper fins performed better than aluminium or brass ones.
