Summary
A coupled model of spectral solar radiation and convection is built for sloped rooftop solar chimneys, alternating between empirical stack-effect and heat transfer correlations and CFD simulations until airflow and temperatures converge. It is then applied to estimate ventilation airflow for chimneys with different roof inclinations and air gap widths.
