Summary
Numerical simulations examine a closed room ventilated by a wind catcher combined with a solar chimney whose absorber is a dark aluminium plate, under head-on wind speeds of roughly 0.6–1.5 m/s. Adding the chimney's buoyancy-driven airflow lowers indoor temperature more effectively than the wind catcher alone, and humidity also drops noticeably at low wind speeds.
