Summary
Field tests on a test cell in Thailand's hot, humid climate compare a solar chimney used alone and paired with roof water spraying against an unmodified control cell. The chimney alone gave modest ventilation (0.16–1.98 air changes per hour) and only slight cooling, while adding the wetted roof kept indoor air 2.0–6.2 °C below ambient, so the combination is recommended.
