Summary
Numerical simulations modelled on the Spanish prototype plant examine how collector roof slope and the height, number and curvature of flow-guiding plates affect power output and turbine placement. A collector slope of about 0.5° gave the strongest boost to chimney draught; more guide plates, plates slightly taller than the collector and gentler curvature also helped, while only the slope shifted the best turbine position.
