Summary
An analytical thermodynamic model of steady airflow, validated against published experimental and numerical data, is used to assess how geometry affects solar chimney output and to evaluate feasibility in the UAE climate. Chimney height and turbine pressure drop matter most, and a plant with a 500 m chimney could deliver at least 8 MW, with output highest in summer, when Gulf demand peaks.
