Summary

Sizing study of a 50 kW solar chimney power plant for Bushehr province in southern Iran, combining MATLAB calculations of incoming solar energy with FLUENT simulations validated against Manzanares prototype data. Characteristic curves link collector diameter, tower height and turbine size, showing that small, low-power units require a large collector and a tall tower; hourly output over the day is also reported.
