Summary
Examines airflow in a wall-mounted solar chimney serving a building with several connected rooms, varying cavity and room geometry and solar radiation. Increasing chimney height raised ventilation by about 90% over the tested range, and placing the inlet higher also helped. Beyond an optimal cavity gap and inlet size, gains became marginal, while different room layouts changed flow by under 5%.
