A Numerical and Experimental Study on a Double-channel Solar Chimney Hoang Thanh Tien; Nguyen Quoc Y A solar chimney with two internal air channels is investigated through measurements and a calibrated computational model to predict ventilation performance across sizes and heating levels. Airflow grows in proportion to chimney height, but responds nonlinearly to heat input and gap width, unlike single-channel designs; a 2 m tall unit with a 0.2 m gap could ventilate a home space of about 90 m3.

Summary
A solar chimney with two internal air channels is investigated through measurements and a calibrated computational model to predict ventilation performance across sizes and heating levels. Airflow grows in proportion to chimney height, but responds nonlinearly to heat input and gap width, unlike single-channel designs; a 2 m tall unit with a 0.2 m gap could ventilate a home space of about 90 m³.
