Summary

Proposes a solar updraft tower whose collector roof is made of see-through photovoltaic cells, with a seawater pool underneath that cools the panels and evaporates water for distillation, sized for a village in Sharjah. Fluent simulations indicate that taller towers and wider collectors raise power output, whereas a higher canopy lowers it; yearly production is estimated near 761 MWh and 2,733 t of fresh water.
