Summary
Two-dimensional steady ANSYS Fluent simulations of a small solar chimney plant under Baghdad summer conditions compare three chimney-to-collector diameter ratios. Narrower chimneys produce faster, more turbulent airflow and higher power, while the widest ratio (0.1) disperses the flow and lowers efficiency; peak velocity, and thus the best turbine position, occurs at the chimney base next to the collector.
