Summary
Evaluates a solar chimney power plant in Qatar coupled with a desalination pilot plant, with the pilot plant's surplus heat fed into the chimney collector, using a full year of hourly weather data. The hybrid runs around the clock, producing both electricity and fresh water. Compared with the chimney alone, it raises yearly electricity output from 633,125.9 to 1,103,435 kWh and power efficiency by 98%.
